Application Preparation

Applicants are strongly advised to thoroughly review all program details before making a decision to apply. The LI-MMIT Talented Program is a collaborative initiative under a tripartite partnership between the College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT), the Modern Management and Information Technology (International Program) (MMIT), the Language Institute of Chiang Mai University, and industry partners. The program aims to develop high-potential international students, particularly from China and ASEAN countries, through an integrated learning pathway that combines academic excellence, language proficiency, and industry-relevant skills.

Applicants should carefully assess their suitability for the program, as it is designed to equip students with strong academic foundations, language competencies, and professional skills, enabling progression to undergraduate and postgraduate studies as well as career opportunities in an international context.

Prior to applying, prospective students are encouraged to understand the program’s distinctive strengths, particularly its strong industry linkage. The program collaborates with leading organizations and institutions, offering students opportunities for specialized internships, exposure to real-world industry projects, and career development pathways in fields such as cross-border digital economy, technology, digital business, and management. In addition, students may pursue postgraduate studies with partner universities.

Applicants should also consider their long-term educational goals, as the program is not only intended for admission but is structured as a pathway for international academic advancement. It includes collaborations with overseas universities and partners, such as Oxford Brookes University (United Kingdom), covering the entire process from selection and admission to teaching, learning, and progression to higher-level studies.

During the application process, applicants should visit the “Application” section on the official program website to obtain accurate and up-to-date information. The website provides a dedicated page under “Program Application” for the LI-MMIT Talented Program, MMIT, College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University.

Applicants are encouraged to prepare their personal information and supporting documents in advance. Although the publicly available Application page may not yet provide a complete list of required documents, applicants should verify the latest requirements through the official website or directly contact the program coordinators to avoid any discrepancies.

For further inquiries, applicants may contact the program coordinators or committee members listed on the “About Program” page, where key personnel and official contact details are provided.
